Who we are


I am Rhi, the founder of Sunny Girl Granola. I am a life long foodie, pilates princess, nature lover and a mum.

Living in the Bay of Plenty, I am inspired by the sunshine, the ocean, hills and therefore a lifestyle that revolves around the natural beauty of the landscape that surrounds us here. Whether I am swimming in the ocean with my family, walking up a mountain with a toddler strapped to my back or strolling along the beach alone, I need fuel, from Whole Foods. I have searched the countryside for a granola to make my morning yoghurt bowls and evening sweet treat complete.

Granola, cereal and muesli are so often filled with preservatives to make them last longer, and either artificial sweeteners or refined sugars. I took it upon myself to create my own recipe, one that would help be as nourishing as it is nutritious, be equal parts carbohydrates for energy, protein for longevity and good fats for hormonal balance and of course, taste too good to be true.

With the goodness of high quality wholefoods only, unrefined sugars exclusively and health enhancing properties indefinitely. I think we have done it, but you can be the judge of that.
